Used: Used in the manufacture of additives of phosphor activator, colored lenses and optical filters. Most of nano europium oxide is used in phosphor. Eu3+ is used as activator of red phosphor and Eu2+ is used as blue phosphor. Recently, europium oxide nanoparticles have also been used as stimulated emission phosphors in new X-ray medical diagnosis systems. Nano europium oxide can also be used to make colored lenses and optical filters, and used for magnetic bubble storage devices.
