Therefore, when the Ho:YAG laser is used for medical operation, not only the efficiency and accuracy of the operation can be improved, but also the thermal damage area can be reduced to a smaller area. The free beam generated by nano holmium oxide crystal can eliminate fat without generating too much heat, thus reducing the thermal damage caused by healthy tissues. It is reported that the treatment of glaucoma with nano holmium oxide laser in the United States can reduce the pain of surgery. 3. The optical communication devices such as fiber laser, fiber amplifier and fiber sensor can be made by using nano holmium oxide doped fiber.
