Description: Ytterbium sulfate is a white crystal. Slightly soluble in hot water, more soluble in cold water. The solubility in water decreases with the increase of temperature. Stable under normal temperature and pressure. Ytterbium sulfate is produced by the reaction of ytterbium oxide, hydroxide or carbonate with hot sulfuric acid solution.
