Description: Praseodymium fluoride is a light green crystal or powder, which does not contain crystal water, insoluble in water, difficult to dissolve in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid, but can dissolve in perchloric acid. The preparation method is to add hydrofluoric acid to praseodymium salt solution, or to prepare hydrated praseodymium fluoride from praseodymium hydroxide and hydrofluoric acid, and then to get praseodymium fluoride by vacuum heating.
