Description: Cerium nitrate is colorless or reddish crystal, soluble in water, alcohol , and the aqueous solution is acid. The preparation method is to hydrolyze cerium rich rare earth hydroxide acid solution, dissolve it in nitric acid, reduce cerium 4 to cerium 3 in the presence of oxalic acid or hydrogen peroxide, and then crystallize and separate it to produce cerium nitrate.
