Description: Holmium chloride is generally slightly harmful to water bodies. Do not expose undiluted or large quantities of products to groundwater, waterways or sewage systems. Holmium Chloride is soluble in water and acid, slightly soluble in ethanol. A proper amount of holmium oxide is dissolved in an excess of 2mol / L HCl, further concentrated after a few hours of heating reaction, and the precipitated crystal is holmium chloride hydrate after a few weeks in a desiccator filled with anhydrous calcium sulfate.
