The appropriate molar ratio of citric acid to lanthanum chloride, lanthanum chloride concentration, reaction temperature, system pH, aging time and seed addition amount were selected through experiments to prepare crystalline lanthanum citrate LaC₆H₅O₇·3H₂O.
