Description: Praseodymium chloride is a blue-green powder, easy to absorb moisture, soluble in water and ethanol. In the preparation of anhydrous praseodymium chloride, the solid praseodymium chloride hydrate and ammonium chloride are usually packed in a quartz boat, under reduced pressure, pure and dry HCl gas is introduced, the water is removed by temperature programmed, and then slowly heated to 350 ℃, the excess ammonium chloride is removed by sublimation, the furnace is opened while hot, the quartz tube is transferred to a dryer, and the product is transferred to a hot and dry reagent bottle after cooling, and the product is quickly sealed.
