Description: Lanthanum chloride is a white powder, easy to absorb moisture and soluble in water. The preparation method is generally to pack the solid powder of lanthanum chloride hydrate and ammonium chloride in a quartz boat, put pure and dry HCl gas into the boat under reduced pressure, heat and dehydrate by programmed temperature rise, finally heat and sublime to remove excess ammonium chloride, then turn on the furnace while it is hot and transfer the quartz boat to a dryer, cool it, transfer the product to a dry reagent bottle or aluminum foil bag, and seal it quickly. Lanthanum chloride is generally slightly harmful to water bodies. Do not expose undiluted or large quantities of products to groundwater, waterways or sewage systems.
